Maybe you’re going to have bad times ahead, I don’t know. But why turn today into a bad time just because you're worried about what's going to happen in the future? Enjoy yourself. This is it. You are here to rejoice. You are here to rejoice in the Lord. You are here to celebrate. This is the kingdom! It’s here now under your feet and all around you, if you will enjoy.

Jesus said, “Know the truth and the truth will make you free.” But what truth could it be that would make you free? The only truth that could make you free is the truth that you are free. That will make you free, if you know that. If you don’t know that, you aren't free.

You are free. You are free to enjoy. Here it is. This is the beauty. This is the universe. This is God’s golden goodness all around you - enjoy it! That's what it's about; it’s about you having a good time. It's about you finding pleasure in the world. It's about enjoying now.

What does it mean to enjoy? A woman asked me if there were any spiritual elements to what we were doing. If you enjoy a flower, you have transformed a three-dimensional piece of matter into joy. “Joy” is an elevated state of approval. That’s a miracle! If you enjoy a one-carat shiny rock, you have transformed a carbon crystal into joy. If someone can give you a carbon crystal and you can go to joy, then you're in a state of joy.

Anyone who has ever run into someone who's in a state of joy - it’s really fun! It rubs off on you. You can’t run into anyone in a state of joy and not walk away feeling a whole lot better because you met them. So joy is spread throughout the world to the extent that anybody reaches the state of joy. Joy is a good state to be in. Joy is way up there. Talk about spiritual! The Buddhists have joy as the entry-level spiritual state. The first Bhumi, they call it, is joy. Joy’s pretty high up there. Joy to the world!

So to enjoy is your opportunity, and if you enjoy, you have served the world. As the psalmist said, “This is the day which the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.”
